Authorization for the storage of medicinal products
In spring 2024, the Hessian State Office for Health and Care was notified of the operation of a pharmaceutical warehouse in accordance with Section 67 AMG.
After successfully completing the audit on 10.09.2024 at our site in Mainhausen, we received the positive notification for the storage of medicinal products.

In order to get to know the local conditions even better, the Mainhausen volunteer fire brigade held an extensive fire drill on 11.07.2024 at our hazardous materials logistics centre in Mainhausen.

Planned expansion of the logistics center in Mainhausen
Increase in hazardous materials storage capacity from the current 24,000 pallet spaces to 40,000 pallet spaces.
The storage of hazardous substances with the current hazardous substance classes 2B, 3, 8A, 8A,10,11,12 and 13 will be expanded to include storage classes 2A, 5.1A, 5.1B, 6.1A. 6.1B, 6.1C and 6.1D.
Storage options for large containers of storage class 3 and a capacity of up to 1400 liters.
In addition, lithium-ion batteries of all performance classes and all states of charge as well as new and used batteries can be stored.
Commissioning is planned for the end of the third, beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025.
The successful marketing of the newly created storage capacities for hazardous substances has already begun with promising results.

Granting of the AEO authorization
In order to further improve performance and quality standards, particularly in the area of international transportation and storage of goods, an application was made to become an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).
Following an inspection and audit of the sites by the main customs office in Darmstadt, National-Transport-Service GmbH was granted AEO approval on 28.03.2024.

Application for authorization to operate storage facilities for the customs warehousing of goods
In order to continuously improve our service, we have also submitted an application to the main customs office in Darmstadt for the operation of storage facilities for the customs storage of goods.
As soon as the positive decision is received, goods can be stored duty unpaid at our locations.
All associated customs services are already available today.

Successful IFS recertification 2024
In the area of food storage, the annual assessment for recertification of the IFS Logistics (International Featured Standards) for the certified area: Storage and picking of packaged food (without temperature requirements) took place at our site in 63110 Rodgau in February 2024.
The requirements of IFS Logistics Version 2.3, June 2021, and other associated normative documents were successfully implemented at a higher level and confirmed with the certificate.

Successful ISO 9001 recertification 2024
For continuous process and quality improvement, proof of having introduced and maintained a quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard will be provided at the beginning of 2024.
Proof was successfully provided with audit report no. A21091109 for the certified area: international freight forwarding, sea and air freight, planning and implementation of individual logistics projects, distribution, storage and transportation of hazardous materials.

Vehicle fleet – our new additions
In January 2024, we were able to expand our fleet with two more modern and fully equipped vehicles with a lifting platform and electric pallet truck from the vehicle manufacturer MAN.

Purchase of property in Mainhausen
In March 2023, a plot of land directly adjacent to the existing site with an area of approx. 10,000 square metres was acquired at the Mainhausen site to ensure an optional expansion of capacity.
October 2022
New opening of hazardous materials logistics centre in 63533 Mainhausen
The Hazardous Substance Logistics Centre, consisting of a modern administration building with logistics and freight forwarding handling area, was put into operation in October 2022.
