Approval of the Federal Immission Control Act application on 2 July 2025
As part of the expansion, an application was submitted to the Regional Council in Darmstadt on 7 July 2024 in accordance with Section 4 of the Federal Immission Control Act (BimSchG).
The approval of the application on 2 July 2025 laid the foundation for expanding the range of hazardous substance storage classes and, at the same time, enabling the tonnage of hazardous substances for future storage to be mapped.
